Nestled amidst the picturesque hills near Kotagera in the Moodigere taluk of Chikkamagaluru district, lies a charming school, its beauty complemented by the surrounding natural splendor. Established in 2001, this school embarked on its journey in a humble building in Banakal. On December 14, 2001, it was inaugurated by the revered Sri Kagodu Timmappa, the Minister for Social Welfare. The inauguration ceremony, under the auspices of Mrs. Motamma, Secretary of the Department of Women and Child Development, was attended by her children as well.

Fast forward to February 7, 2004, when the school’s new building, crafted amidst the serene landscape, was unveiled by the esteemed Secretary of Residence, Mr. C.R. Sagir Ahmad. Once again, Mrs. Motamma, along with the Department of Women and Child Development, graced the occasion, serving as the presiding authority over the ceremony.
